We love getting to spoil the directors at our partner preschools during the Holiday season!
As the Fall portrait season begins to wind down each year, our franchise owners like to take time to recognize and express their gratitude to the directors and staff at their local preschool partner schools. We know directors wear a lot of hats during the day, and we appreciate the time and energy they put into serving the children and families at their local schools.
These schools allow us to come visit two to four times a year to photograph their sweet children.
In addition to taking pictures, many of our franchise owners have other passions and talents they share with their local schools. This is a time of year for our franchise owners tend to get crafty, spend time baking treats, or create a gathering social event for directors to attend outside of the school day.
At the beginning of December, you will find Will Smith in Brentwood and Joey and Sandi Fotheringham in Katy baking hundreds of chocolate chip cookies with their family members to pop in and surprise their schools with. Lynn Driver in Buckhead and Brittany Evans in Mansfield also love baking everything from brownies and cupcakes, to professionally decorated cakes! Lynn has as tradition of creating a hot cocoa bar experience to treat some of her local Buckhead schools.
Kara Kellner in Birmingham has a tradition of inviting her directors to a holiday paint party. This has been a fun gathering for directors to meet and socialize with other directors in the area and create something personalized for their homes. Kristi Wilder from Brook Hills ELC said, “I always look forward to the painting party with Kara each holiday season. It’s a special tradition that makes me feel like more than just a client – I’m truly a friend. It’s a wonderful time for all the directors to come together, unwind, and celebrate the season in such a warm, creative atmosphere.”
Melissa Tash in Huntsville has partnered with a local floral shop to allow her directors to come together and create beautiful holiday floral arrangements.
No matter how our owners choose to spoil and recognize their schools during the holiday season, we hope they all feel appreciated and a part of our Spoiled Rotten Photography family!
