Who is the
ideal franchise candidate?
Our franchisees generally fall into 3 profiles:
- Photo hobbyists or professional photographers who want to maximize sales and results by aligning with Spoiled Rotten Photography because of our proven advertising, marketing, systems, and business approach.
- Entrepreneurs who see the need and opportunity for a professional children’s portrait brand to enter this cottage industry and grab market share.
- First time business people who have a passion for art or photography and an equal passion for working with children.
Spoiled Rotten photography has training, support, and systems to help the photographer maximize their opportunity and the entrepreneur or first time business owner to get established in the children’s portrait business.
Franchisees must demonstrate the following:
- Shared values
- Possess or have access to $45,000 to $65,000 to start a business
- Credit score of at least 660 to show financial responsibility
- Clean criminal record as we work with kids

How can I
finance this business?
Spoiled Rotten Photography franchisees finance their businesses a number of different ways, including:
- SBA
- Home equity line of credit (HELOC)
- Loans from friends and family
- 401K Rollover (ROBS)
How do SRP franchisees compete?
We offer customers a better value than our competition. Our artistry is far superior and more unique than the large, national one-size-fits-all-kids photo sessions. Our price is more affordable than custom portrait photographers, who often charge $150-$500 per sitting. Our average package costs $98. Because our photographers set up mobile studios at preschools, private schools, and other venues, they photograph an average of 36 children per day per photographer. By creating more volume, we can afford to offer families a greater value than a photographer who is setting up only one photograph at a time.
What training and support
do I receive?
Aside from robust pre-opening initial training, franchisees receive extensive ongoing training, consulting, coaching, and peer-to-peer support. For more details click here.
Do I receive a
protected territory?
Yes, franchisees receive protected territories of approximately 400,000+ people.
Can I operate a
home-based business?
Yes, franchisees operate from their home. Mobile studios are designed to fit in a standard SUV with no problem. You will not need customized trucks or trailers, saving franchisees thousands of dollars.
